first weigh in

It’s Monday, so that means it’s a “weigh day” for me! I’m excited to jump on the scale! I’m not literally going to jump on the scale.  The scale would be of no further use to me if I did that.  Ha.  Before I weigh, I want to add some stuff to my journal here.

Nutrisystem things to never order again:

Cedddar Broccoli Rice – there was enough rice in the cup, but just tiny specks of broccoli.  The consistency was chalky.  Not good.

NS things to order again:

Cinnamon Roll

Broccoli Cheese Melt

Buttermilk Waffles – these are deeelicious!

English Muffin With Canadian Bacon, Egg and Cheese

Four Cheese Melt

Whole Wheat Ricotta Crepes

I experienced a small binge on Friday.  I was babysitting my 3 beautiful grandsons, and I brought them Little Ceasar’s Pizza. I buy a large pepperoni, drive to their house, knock on the door, the door opens and I yell “Pizza Man!”  Varric comes running yelling “Gamma!”  I love it!  Plus, a couple of days after I’ve bought the pizza, my car still smells of pizza… a little added bonus.

Continuing on about the binge… While babysitting, I ate a slice of pizza and then a breadstick and another breadstick.  Then Faolan was sitting next to me on the couch and Varric was on my lap and we were watching “The Trollhunter,” a very good show, I must say.  I was holding a bag of Goldfish for Varric, while he was eating them. I must have been licking my lips, because V put his hand on my face, turned my face towards him and said, “Gamma you can have some Goldfish.”  That boy melts my heart, I tell ya!  I ended up eating probably a cup of them.

When you’re on a diet and eating food that has little taste, and you finally eat something that has lots of taste, well, it’s like a little piece of food heaven on earth.  Know what I’m sayin’?

I didn’t feel bad about the binge. I just started right back up again toward my plan to get fit.  It’s okay.  I’m okay.

Saturday, I went with Moke & Kasey to Texas Roadhouse in Conroe.  Ate half of a 6 ounce sirloin and ate a salad with low fat ranch. It was all soooo good!  I loved so much what I ordered, that I didn’t even crave having their fantastic rolls, or a loaded baked potato or eating any peanuts.  I stuck to what I planned to eat.

Sunday, I watched Jason Momoa in a movie with Sylvester Stallone.  Jason was a very bad guy in it. I’ll watch anything with Jason Momoa in it.  To me, he’s like the perfect guy… he’s got long hair, he’s big, his face is perfect, with that scar through his eyebrow.  He’s funny and a good actor.  I’m sure Lisa Bonet knows how lucky she is to have him.  Sorry about that, I can't believe I left this in my post. I just like the guy... a lot.

Okay... I weighed 218 lbs. last Monday.  I will weigh myself now.  Drum roll please!

212 lbs!  I have lost 6 lbs!  Yay!  I’m excited and happy, and feel that I can do this.  It will be EPIC to eventually weigh under 200 lbs.

Thank you guys for reading this journal entry.  If you want, you can look around my blog and tell me what you think of it.

Oh, ATTENTION PLEASE:  I’ll be on Moke & Kasey’s radio show “HANGING WITH THE HAYTERS” this Wednesday at noon!  This will be my second guest appearance!  Go to http://irlonestar.com/

I’ll wrap this up by saying that I love you!  Please visit my blog often, because I post in my WEIGHT journal every few days.  And… if any of you happen to cross paths with Jason Momoa, tell him he’s EPIC, because he might need to hear it.
