Day 39 -- Wrong!


My goal is to lose 50 lbs by February 21, 2017.  After 5 weeks of low carbing, I’ve lost 11 lbs.

I’m trying new recipes so that I won’t get bored.

I read comments about spaghetti squash.... "You won’t miss pasta at all!”  Wrong!  Eating spaghetti squash is like…..well, it’s like eating spaghetti squash.  Nothing like pasta, and I will never eat it again.  Yucko!

Also read comments about cauliflower mashed potatoes.... "After you have it, you’ll never miss mashed potatoes again!”  Wrong! I will never want mashed cauliflower again!  It has the consistency of grits, and I’m not a fan of grits.  Mashed potatoes are awesome, mashed cauliflower, not so much.

Some days I eat zero carbs, and other days I eat around 30g.

Oh!  Last week, I had to have a Whataburger, so I ate one.  Oh lordy, it was awesome!  I made yummy sounds with each bite!  And at my Grandson Varric’s birthday party, I had two bites of his cake.  Personally, I believe it is bad luck for the BD person if you don’t eat at least some of their cake, and I don’t wish anyone bad luck.  An excellent excuse to eat cake, don't you think?  I just wish more of my friends and family would offer me BD cake.

I'm continuing on, and am on my way to losing 50 lbs.  Will be weighing in a couple of weeks.  As usual, please wish me success with my's appreciated.  I love you much, and you are awesome!
