When I do a movie review, it's rarely about the storyline. It's about the acting and how the movie made me feel.
Meryl Streep did her usual good acting. I don't know if you've ever noticed, but she has a thing she does with her breathing sometimes, like she's having an anxiety attack. She didn't do that much of it in this movie, which was good.
Rick Springfield did some very fine acting. He's been around for years, and I imagine that everyone fines it easy to like him. Everyone, except of course, for Jesse.
The girl who played the daughter looked so much like Meryl, and she was good.
This was a satisfying movie. I laughed, cried and danced in my seat. Yes, I danced and I didn't care what anyone else thought of me. Life is too much fun to worry about what others think about us.
I came out of the movie smiling, feeling good and I do recommend this movie. Want to also share that the singing in the trailer is not as good as the singing in the movie.
Have a great rest of the weekend! Luv U!
